AID4JAPAN SA: Relief Aid Event in Rosebank

On March 27, "Aid4Japan SA" charity event was held at The Zone in Rosebank, Johannesburg, hosted by Ms Lalla Hirayama, a South African celebrity. SA comedian David Kau, SA rappers Die Antwoord, Miss South Africa Bokang Montjane and many other famous singers, DJs, and celebrities joined the event to raise relief aid for the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami disasters in Japan.

On March 29, Ms Hirayama came to the Japanese Embassy in Pretoria to hand over the collected donations and also the messages of encouragement to Ambassador Ozawa. The total donation amount was R25656.90. Thank you very much for your assistance. The donation will be forwarded to the disaster area through Japan Red Cross Society.
